The Friday before Christmas, we went to 6 Flags Holiday in the Park. We all...but Peyton...rode several rides. Here are a few of the pictures we could get...

The P's cousins Will and Jamie came over while their parents were at a Christmas Party. Will and Peyton are just 12 days apart.

Peyton is getting ready for the holidays by starting to try to crawl. He is coming up on his hands and knees and rocking. While Trooper and I were gone for our anniversary, he started to scoot to things! It is all over now!

8 years and 8 months
Yesterday was Trooper and my 8 year anniversary! We are going on Sunday and Monday night to Fredericksburg to a B&B without the kiddos! It will be my 1st time away from Peyton!!!
Peyton also turned 8 months old yesterday. He is 16 lbs and 2oz and 27 1/4 inches long. No he is not crawling yet...he will get up on his knees, but not crawling. I guess it does not help when I am trying to get him to crawl to a toy and EVERY TIME Parker or Paige just hand it to him. They cannot understand why I keep telling them to STOP HANDING IT TO HIM when I am telling Peyton to reach for it. Yes, I have pics, but it is late and I am off to bed. I will add them to a post tomorrow.

Music day!
2 weeks ago the kids had performance day in music class. Paige did (or sat looking cute for) Row Row Row Your Boat. She finally started to sing as I was turning off the camera.
Here is Parker singing Goodbye, Adios. Ms Kami said for him to just sing the chorus without his friends' names. Well, that was not how he practiced so that is not how he did it! Watch for yourself!

2 things...
Peyton 7 month and So long since blogging...
Peyton is 7 months (WOW!) today. Right now he is 27 inches, 15 pounds and 3 onces. He is FINALLY eatting food! He decided just this past 8 days that he really wants to eat. Before that he would only take about 2 bites and be done with it. He loves squash the most right now...Paige loves his star puffs.
Sorry it has been so long since I blogged. Have been reading and lost track of time. Emily T. gave me a book a few weeks ago. I let it sit and did not read more than 1-2 pages at a time for about 2-3 weeks. Her and Carissa both had read it and said they really enjoyed it. I am not a real big reader. The day of Peyton's tubes being placed in I decided to take it with me to the hospital. If I could not get into the book, I would give it back to Emily. I could not put it down! I had to leave it in my car the following day and the reminder of the weekend because I had to get things ready for Parker's party and we had family in town that weekend. I started it again the following Monday and finished it Friday morning (500 pages). I picked up the next book, finished by Sunday (560 + pages). The 3rd book, finished by Tuesday (600 + pages). The 4th and final book in the series and finished by Friday (750 + pages). I loved them all. The movie for the 1st book comes out this Friday. Read the book first. It is WONDERFUL!!! The 1st book is Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Enjoy!

doctor, doctor, doctor
Since the first week of October, we have been to the doctor EVERY WEEK at least 2 times!!
I (Jami) have been 3 times...one for a refill on allergy meds for before they arrived and twice for a change in allergy meds because things were not working!
Parker has been 3 times (4th next week for his 6 month tube check)...one for an ear/q-tip event, one for an infections, and one for his 4 year visit. As far as his 4 year went...he is 34 pound and 41 inches. He is up 4 pounds and 4 inches from last year. That puts him at about the 35% for weight and 70% for height. Parker also had his hearing and vision tested...he passed both!
Peyton has been to the doctor 6 times (7 if you include this Friday for his tube check from the ENT and 8 if you include in 2 weeks the 2nd round of flu shots that he will need since it is his 1st time getting it) and the hospital 1 time for tubes...1 was a 6 month wcc, 2 were for ear infections, 1 was for the bumps on his head, 1 was a check on his boy parts, and TODAY's was a sinus infection.
I think they laugh at me when I walk into the doctor's office. They do not even ask my name or the kids' names anymore. Well...I think if I came with Paige they would. She has only been in 2 times for something other than a jaundice check as a newborn or a scheduled wcc. Once she was throwing up all day and they wanted to check her for dehydration. The other was having her checked her out for speech delays/hearing loss (yes delay, no loss) this summer before she started her weekly speech therapy.
I did knock on wood before I left the office and prayed for the health of my children on my own, with the kids, and with Trooper today...just like most days!
Oh the life of a mom...I know I would not trade it...Would you?

Busy Week...Part 4 of 4
Dressing for Preschool and Texas Tech
Over the past few weeks at school, Parker and Paige have dressed up for several different things...
First was high school spirit day...Belton Tigers! That is the only team Paige has ever watched and the one Parker has seen the most.
Cowboy and Cowgirl day.
College day...GO TECH!!! Make sure you read the story below. Here Parker has on a friend's shirt because his was in the mail from Aunt Vicki and Uncle Bobby.
Okay now onto Tech and the story. I called my Auny Vicki about getting the boys a Tech shirt from Lubbock. I was not finding the right size for them here. She sent them in the mail shortly afterwards. Last Saturday, I had a baby shower in the morning. When I arrived home, the kids were having lunch outside and Peyton was about to get up from nap. That morning we had put on fall/halloween outfits on the kids. Trooper put on thier Tech shirts over to support our team. As I am walking to the backyard to greet the kids, Trooper say, "The shirt your aunt got for Paige is way too small for her. It is going to have to go for Peyton." I responded, "She did not get one for Paige. There was one for Parker and one for Peyton. Paige already has her Tech cheerleading uniform." So here are the pictures of Paige in Peyton's shirt (that says 9 months on the tag!!) and Peyton in his shirt as well.
Peyton showing off his Tech Shoes!
Paige in her dress and Parker in his Tech shirt! Go Raiders!
